Green Horizons is a quarterly newsletter published by the School of Natural Resources and the MU Center for Agroforestry. We strive to provide our 4,000-plus readership with the latest news and information on forest management, agroforestry, and community forestry.     The Missouri Community Forestry Council (MCFC) is committed to urban and community forestry issues in Missouri.
  • Missouri Consulting Foresters Association
    The Missouri Consulting Foresters Association (MCFA) is an organization of technically trained professional foresters that provide competent forest management advice or assistance to landowners. Each member is self-employed and offers services on a fee or contract basis.

  • National Timber Tax
    Very few sections of the Internal Revenue Code are written specifically for timber. This means there is a considerable amount of interpretation involved. This Web site was developed to be used by timberland owners, as well as a reference source for accountants, attorneys, consulting foresters and other professionals who work with timberland owners by answering specific questions regarding the tax treatment of timber related activities.
